Screen Media Buys Lena Headey, Sam Worthington Thriller ‘9 Bullets’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Screen Media has acquired North American rights to “9 Bullets,” a new crime thriller with “Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey and “Avatar’s” Sam Worthington. The studio is planning a day-and-date release in April.
“9 Bullets” centers on a showgirl (Headey), who risks everything when she rescues a young boy after his family is murdered by her ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be the local crime-boss (Worthington). Now on the run, she makes a desperate attempt to get the boy safely to his uncle in South Dakota.
The film is directed and written by Gigi Gaston (“Rip it Off”) and also stars Dean Scott Vasquez (“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”), Cam Gigandet (“The Magnificent Seven”), La La Anthony (“Power”), Martin Sensmeier (“Westworld”) and Oscar-nominee Barbara Hershey (“The Portrait of a Lady”). Foresight Unlimited, Screen Media’s international sales division, is handling foreign sales for the picture and has successfully closed deals in many key international territories.

Story of an ancient art form told in ‘Overland’, making world premiere at SBIFF
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The nature film Overland is making its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Friday.
About the ancient art of falconry, it tells the story of not only the 6,000 year old profession but the birds that continue its legacy.
SBIFF describes the film like this:
Adventure unfolds across four continents as an eagle hunter, a falcon racer, and a hawk whisperer awaken an ancient art to connect to a wild that is fading out of sight and out of mind.

Overland premieres with a free screening Friday afternoon at the Lobero Theater. It hits screens across Santa Barbara two other time over the weekend.
EMI TO RELEASE 'CLASSIC FILM NOIR' 1 NOVEMBER 2019
Hugo's 'Film Noir' album for EMI will be released on all major streaming platforms this coming November.
The album comprises of twelve exciting and highly expressive retro-film noir tracks. The album was recorded with the Max Steiner Orchestra at the Synchron Sound Stage in Vienna.

Hugo de Chaire Scores 'Surviving Christmas - With the Relatives'

Hugo has recently completed scoring the Christmas comedy film 'Surviving Christmas with the Relatives' directed by James Dearden, starring Julian Ovenden, Gemma Whelan, Joely Richardson, Sally Phillips, Michael Landes, Patricia Hodge, Ronni Ancona, Sophie Simmett and James Fox.
The score was recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 17th October 2018.

Crooked House Release Dec 2017
Released in December 2017 Hugo completed scoring Agatha Christie's film re-adaption 'Crooked House' directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, starring Glen Close, Gillian Anderson, Christina Hendricks, Stefanie Martini, Max Irons and Terence Stamp.
The score was recorded at Teldex Studio Berlin with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Berlin Symphony in association with Scoring Berlin GmbH.
